These are the roles we are currently looking to fill in within the US:
Please note that for US positions you must be eligible to live and work in the US on a permanent basis.
Recruitment process
The first step is a short phone interview after which, if successful, you will be asked to come into our offices in London to meet us face-to-face as follows:
- General interview: This hour is for getting to know each other;
- Technical assignment: This hour is for you to demonstrate your technical approach and abilities (hands-on);
- Technical discussion: This half hour is to review the technical assignment.
What to expect
We like to think we have a balanced and exciting introduction in line for new graduate joiners.
For your first couple of months, you will be closely mentored while learning new technologies, languages and tools, and work on a non-critical pet project or two without deadline hassles.
For your next few months, you will partner an experienced member of staff and contribute to their production work, with emphasis placed on the final quality of your work, without over-exposure to deadlines or clients.
All throughout this period, you will receive weekly tutorials from experienced members of staff on aspects of professional software implementation and development, where appropriate, and be encouraged to tap on shoulders to discuss anything you need to.
Once you have bedded in to your area, you will be a full blown member of the Symplectic team with responsibilities of your own. Our team all work together though, at all times, and there is an atmosphere of “how can we get this done?”, with meetings called by anyone, which we hope you can help to maintain.
