InfoEd teams up with Symplectic in new collaboration

05 January 2011

InfoEd logoInfoEd International, Inc. and Symplectic Limited have today announced a new partnership aimed at developing seamless interoperability between InfoEd's research administration software suite and the Symplectic Elements system.

The integration will create seamless access to Symplectic's software within the InfoEd product suite, leveraging the synergies of two leading edge products.

Mutual clients of InfoEd and Symplectic will be able to make the most of the benefits of each system, while eliminating the cost and inefficiencies of creating individual integrations. The Open Architecture of the products allows for this to be done easily and reliably, delivering a comprehensive research administration management system.

"Symplectic Elements is software designed by academics for academics," says Daniel Hook, Managing Director of Symplectic Limited.

"One of our main aims is to reduce the administrative burden on academics while giving administrators the data that they need. We are pleased to be collaborating with InfoEd to help academics spend more time on their research and less time on administration."

Edward Johnson, Jr., President of InfoEd, says: "InfoEd is committed to delivering a comprehensive best-of-breed research administration software solution to meet the evolving needs of the industry. By combining the expertise and commitment of our respective companies, we will deliver a tool to researchers and administrators to improve the grant, research output, and reporting process."
