The Symplectic Elements 7.0 update introduces a number of impactful improvements and foundational changes to help make Elements more powerful and intuitive.

Key highlights of v7.0 include:
- A brand new sidebar navigation, designed to simplify how users move through Symplectic Elements and provide a cleaner, more intuitive experience.
- Significant repository tools enhancements, including support for DSpace 9 and setting an indefinite embargo when depositing files to Figshare.
- A major upgrade to our Web of Science integration. We are transitioning from the older Lite API to the newer Starter API, in anticipation of the discontinuation of the legacy API later this year in order to ensure uninterrupted access to Web of Science data.
