University of the Arts London: Using Symplectic Elements to Showcase Peer Observation Opportunities

Join the University of Arts London’s Mark Hibbett and Anab Hussen to hear about a pilot project at UAL using Symplectic Elements to power peer observations across their teaching body.

Members of staff can easily share details of their teaching sessions available for peer observation, creating a collaborative environment for growth and improvement. Faculty can then search for observations based on subject area, class size, days of the week etc, helping them to identify learning opportunities.

Mark Hibbett and Anab Hussen are Head of Research Information Systems and Research Systems Administrator at University of the Arts London. They manage UAL systems such as Elements and Figshare and are responsible for the technical aspects of the university’s REF submission.
